The Conference Centre Creta Maris covers an area of 6000 sq.m. and within its 58 halls can accommodate in full function up to 5.500 delegates. The location of the conference centre and the specifically designed areas that surround it, the number of conference halls and the highly flexible syndicate rooms, the exhibition area and the state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, the excellent technical support and expert staff, as well as Creta Maris Beach Resort infrastructure, makes the conference centre an extremely flexible and sophisticated venue able to cover requirements of small scientific meetings to the organizing of major conferences, exhibitions, product launching and banquets
Conference Badges are mandatory for the admission & access to the meeting halls and exhibition.
Wireless Internet access will be provided free of charge to check for e-mails and update social media.
The official language of the Conference is English. There will be no translation facilities available for the conference participants.
Liability & Insurance
The Conference Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
Climate & weather
Summer officially begins in June in Greece and the weather reflects this. The average temperature this month is 24°C (75°F), while the average low is just 20°C (68°F), and the average high is a warm 28°C (82°F). The weather in June stays relatively the same throughout. The beginning, middle, and end of June are all warm with lots of sun.
Greece is a member of the European Union and belongs to the Schengen area.
Please note that all travellers, except for those exempt from visa requirement, should apply for the corresponding visa at the local Greek Diplomatic or Consular Offices before their arrival. People in possession of a valid residence permit or a valid long-term visa issued by another Member State, should check the validity of their visa in order to avoid any inconvenience.
If an entry visa is required, please allow sufficient time for this procedure:
Submit your visa application in person, two months before you plan to travel to Greece in order to avoid any inconvenience.
